Alonzo Simmons has been an electrician for over 25 years.  He started Simmons Electric a year after marrying his wife Charlyce in 2004.  The company serves the local community and beyond meeting all of their electrical needs.

  Charlyce has been singing since the age of three.  Once she married Alonzo Simmons, he helped her launch her music career even further.  She has now completed 3 CDs, 1 book, and is currently working on a stage play based on the autobiography of her life, “All of me”.

Popeye BBQ sauce was developed in 2009 after the Simmons’ started grilling at their local church, El Bethel Temple in Orlando, Florida. Alonzo and Charlyce longed for a sauce that would perfectly compliment their style of grilling.

Trying to make ends meet, they decided to make their own sauce to sell with their delicious food, and the sauce was a huge success. Their customers wanted it on everything, the fried fish, French fries, and shrimp!  So in 2016, they decided to go into mass production of the sauce and found a bottling company. 

Now we are proud to present Popeye BBQ sauce.

When Alonzo and Charlyce got married on March 8th, 2003, they had no idea they would ever be in the food business. But as they cooked for family gatherings, and social events their food was always outstanding!  They received so many compliments that soon they found themselves wondering if they should go in this direction.  In 2009, Charlyce suffered a devastating brain hemorrhage and they found themselves in need of another source of income.  As Charlyce recovered over the next several months, they launched C & A mobile food service. As caterers, they provide comforting home-cooked food items and amazing barbeque.
